Carpet Disposal – How to Finish up Carpet Removal

Looking to move on from that old shag carpet and replace it with something new? Correctly disposing of your old carpet and carpet padding can be tricky but we’re here to help.  Follow our quick and simple guidelines to ensure a smooth disposal experience.

  • Cut to 3-4 Feet in Length: Cutting the carpet will allow for it to be carried with ease. If the carpet is too long it becomes awkward to carry and hinders maneuverability. It is essential that the carpet rolls are cut short so they can fit inside the garbage truck.

  • Roll and Tie Bundles of Carpet: We ask for the carpet to be rolled and secured tightly, avoiding unorganized piles of loose carpet. Nicely tied bundles keep your home uncluttered and neat while also accelerating pick up time. And because you so nicely bundled and secured the carpet, your curb will be extremely clean and tidy after everything is picked up.

No More Than 4 Rolls Per Week
We can take up to eight carpet rolls per week along with your regular garbage. If you have more than four rolls, call us and we can set up a special arrangement, which may include an additional charge.
