Home/Residential Services/Electronic Waste Pick-Up Service

Electronic Waste Pickup Service

Are your old computers, monitors, televisions and electronics taking up space? Recycle your unwanted residential electronics. All current Homewood Disposal, NuWay Disposal, Star Disposal and Kankakee Disposal customers can schedule a special electronics recycling pickup using this form.

  • The e-waste pick-up charge is $25.00. This charge includes all e-waste collected with the exception of TV’s and monitors.

  • Televisions and monitors are an additional $25.00 each

  • Aroma Park, Mokena, Oak Forest, Park Forest and Richton Park residents – This electronics recycling program is already included as part of your town’s residential contract. There are no additional fees. Please note, residents of these villages must receive garbage service through their town contract to qualify for no additional fees.

Current residential customers can schedule a pickup on this page. Then, simply place your electronics curbside near your trash containers. We’ll send an additional truck to your location for removal. Electronics that are placed curbside without scheduling with Homewood Disposal first, will not be removed.

As of 2012, the Illinois Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act banned many electronics from landfills as these products contain hazardous material. Homewood Disposal, and all waste haulers, are no longer able to accept many electronics in residential curbside waste programs.
